Gladys Wangari, an undergraduate student pursuing Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science in the Department of Biological Sciences (School of Natural Sciences-MMUST) on Industrial Attachment at the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA-Murang’a County) under the mentorship of the Environmental Expert Danielle Mututho and Dr. Dennis M.W. Ochieno (MMUST), in June 2021.

“During my attachment in NEMA-Murang’a, I successfully learnt the processes of receiving and reviewing Environmental Impact Assessment Reports from firms. I also got to learn the generation of licenses and the requirements for acquisition of Summary Project Report (SPR) and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) licenses” she said.
